La leggendaria band di Manchester HAPPY MONDAYS dopo la tanto attesa reunion pubblica Uncle Dysfunktional (Sequel/Sanctuary), il primo album da studio dal 1992.
In uscita il 2 luglio, l’album segna il grande ritorno del cantante Shaun Ryder, la ‘mascotte’ Bez, ed il batterista Gaz Whelan.
L’album è prodotto da Sonny Levin (figlio di Stewart Levin, produttore di Simply Red/Sly and The Family Stone – e nipote dell’icona Quincy Jones) e missato da Howie B (produttore di Bjork e U2).
Gli HAPPY MONDAYS annunciano anche un tour inglese – il primo dal 2000 – che partirà a settembre, e vedrà la band di Leeds The Sunshine Underground in veste di supporters.

About The Happy Mondays:
The Happy Mondays sono stati i veri esponenti del “party 24 ore su 24” (precursori del rave), dominando la scena club dance e rappresentando il movimento cosiddetto “Madchester”, tra la fine degli anni ’80 e inizi ’90.
Dopo il loro scioglimento nel 1992, il cantante Shaun Ryder e la ‘mascotte’ Bez sono rimasti sulla scena con la loro band Black Grape.
Negli ultimi anni, Shaun ha partecipato come guest vocalist nel brano #1 “Dare” dei Gorillaz, e Bez ha infranto i cuori di tutta la Gran Bretagna vincendo l’edizione del ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ nel 2005.
